Salacgrīva secondary school and association TEV are asking for the support of fellow human beings, so that in the period from August 18 - 28, 2024, 35 young women of Ukrainian nationality (basketball players) aged 13 - 14 years and 5 adults can be admitted to Salacgrīva, who ensure the safe arrival of these young people in Latvia .
The goal is to help young women from different regions of Ukraine (Zaporizhia, Rovna, Cherkasy, Lutsk and Kharkiv) to recover from the war conditions and the devastation caused.
The donated funds will be used for accommodation, meals, and familiarization with Latvian cultural environment, history and traditions of minors.
We will be grateful for the given opportunity to restore faith in the good in children.
